CORSA and MANTA
ADMIRAL comes with it's own script programs to create automated test sequences.
ADMIRAL uses scripts to automate test sequences. A script consists of a sequence of commands. These can include setpoints or setpoint ramps, time delays, waits for actual values, jumps and loops within the script, and much more. ADMIRAL distinguishes between test rigs used in production facilities and those in research facilities. For production facilities, scripts are executed on the PLC, whereas for research facilities, scripts are processed directly within ADMIRAL. Due to the differing execution systems, the scripts vary in their composition and available commands. Consequently, two different programs are available for creating these scripts:
MANTA is used to create scripts that run on the PLC. For production facilities, it is the only program required for script creation. Once created in MANTA, scripts must be compiled.
CORSA is the counterpart for creating scripts for research facilities; it offers significantly greater functionality and flexibility. Scripts created here simply need to be saved; compilation takes place when they are loaded into ADMIRAL
